A while back I came upon a book review that caught my interest, and a giveaway that I had just missed. {sigh} But, that's okay, because that's what my library is for.
So, I jumped over to my site and put the book on hold. Well, apparently so had quite a few other people, because I just got this book two days ago.
It's worth the wait. I'll probably be sharing thoughts here and there as I read, but had to share a couple gems from today . . .
Did you ever think that birds don't need antacids? (loose paraphrase of Matthew 6:25ff)
Of the 125 commands that Christ gives, 21 of them pertain to taking courage and "fear not." Clearly something many of us struggle with, and God knows.
God knows. I love that.
